Each year we receive an amount of money called the Pupil Premium. The amount we get is based on the number of children that we have that claim Free School Meals (FSM).
The purpose of the money is to “to address the current underlying inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their wealthier peers by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most.”
