Headteacher’s Welcome

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school community. I, along with all the staff and governors of the school, am proud of the achievements of our pupils. Not just in terms of academic achievement but in their development as young people.

Visitors often comment on how friendly the school is and how happy the children appear to be. We strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe and are able to flourish. We place a great emphasis on our school values and the development of the whole child. As a result we have large numbers of children who take part in the ‘Sing Thing” (choir), orchestra, various sports, the arts and also lead activities for younger pupils.

This all leads to a school where all pupils are valued, have an opportunity to contribute to our community and all are supported to do their best. Above all, we place children’s wellbeing at the heart of what we do so that they can flourish in our care.

I hope you find our website informative and helpful and that it gives you a clear picture of how Governors and staff will ensure that your child makes the most of the varied opportunities which will be offered during their time at the school.

The best way to find out about us though is to visit us. We are always happy to meet prospective parents and answer any questions you may have. If you would like to come and see us, please contact the school office.
